We have grown our Southampton office to be an established and well regarded practice and are looking to replicate this success with a second office, located in Brent Cross. We are looking for a full time building surveyor to join our managing director initially, with possible progression to manage a surveying team as it grows (if that suits your ambitions!). You will be supported by a friendly and sociable team, providing a combination of commercial and residential service lines. Your role will entail inspecting and reporting upon a range of properties from one-bedroom flats to multi-million pound commercial buildings. The majority of properties will be based around London and the Home Counties, though there is increasing scope for further travel.
There will also be opportunities to enhance your experience in dealing with building surveys, Party Wall matters, dilapidations, amongst other service lines.
Our office is located in Brent Cross, though work (when not inspecting properties) can be split between our office and at home, to suit the applicant.
You will be working on a number of different service lines such as Dilapidations, Party Wall, Homebuyer reports, Building Surveys, Defect Analysis, and Planned Preventative Maintenance Programmes, providing a reliable, consistent and quality service.
If your skill set allows, you will also have the opportunity to undertake Expert Witness instructions.
You will be building relationships with a range of key professionals including solicitors, mortgage advisers and architects, and building your own personal contact base in the local area.
You will produce detailed reports that reflect Harrison Clarke’s commitment to our clients to be client focused and providing them with the best possible service and advice.
You will have an opportunity to enhance your professional profile by filming informational videos on your areas of expertise, to assist with marketing and the wider body of professional knowledge.

Due to RICS Regulations, the candidate will at a minimum be an AssocRICS qualified surveyor, though we would also love to speak with MRICS or FRICS qualified surveyors.
